Isabelle Barter, Certified Yoga Tune Up® Teacher, RYT-200, and FMS Level 1 empowers people to embrace their unique anatomy, helping them improve movement and build strength. After sustaining an injury while practicing yoga, she began a pursuit for more conscientious ways of moving that valued control and solid biomechanics over pure aesthetics and hypermobility. During recovery Isabelle studied under Jill Miller, the founder of Yoga Tune Up® and the Roll Model® Method and changed her teaching to focus on stability, controlling range of motion and building strength. Isabelle’s classes incorporate self-massage and myofascial release techniques using Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls and are designed to better acquaint you with your musculature and the structures of your body. She also focuses on improved breathing and decreasing stress. Isabelle is currently completing the pre-requisites to apply for a physical therapy doctorate program.
